Solar Art installed custom graphics to an office in San Francisco, California! The customer has a conference room in the middle of the office that has two large glass doors that can be pulled apart or kept together to make one big glass wall.The conference room needed increased privacy for confidential information that is displayed and talked about during meetings every day. They didn’t want to completely cover up the glass because that would make the conference room dark and difficult to see what is being presented. They still wanted some natural light to be let in while increasing privacy. With that being said, blinds and shades wouldn’t be the best fit for this project. The owner had heard of window film being used to increase privacy, but didn’t know much about it. The company did some research on privacy window film when they came across Solar Art’s website. They set up an appointment to meet with our sales representative to learn more about window film and how they could potentially incorporate it in the conference room.

When our sales representative learned the customer was looking for increased conference room privacy, he brought decorative window film books and samples for the customer to look through. While on site, our sales representative also told the customer about custom graphics and how they too can increase privacy. As the conversation kept going, the customer learned they could not only increase privacy, but brand their business as well by installing their company logo on the glass. The customer was really interested in going that route. When it comes to custom graphics, you can choose and design basically anything you want. You can choose the material you want and have your company logo cut out of it. The customer worked closely with our in house graphics team to come up with the perfect custom graphics. They ended up having their company logo cut out of a striped decorative window film that greatly increases privacy. As an added design factor, the customer decided to have a small band of the striped window film installed above and below the custom graphic. As you can see from the photo, when the doors are shut people aren’t going to be able to see into the conference room. The custom graphics give the conference room a uniform look, while increasing privacy and branding the business. Needless to say, the customer was really pleased with the outcome of the installation.
