Business owners, this case study is for you! Do you have a lot of glass in your office that makes it feel bare or uninviting? Or is privacy an issue because of the glass? Either way, this case study is geared completely towards you! Solar Art was lucky enough to install custom graphics for the entire Kaiser Permanente building in Seattle, Washington! The business owner was having issues with privacy as well as a lack of decorative design in various areas throughout the office.
Solar Art has done work with Kaiser Permanente in the past, so they were familiar with who we are and the different options they have when it comes to window film. They knew right away that they were interested in custom graphics and they thought it would be a good fit for their office. They even had a design in mind that they liked, so they created it and sent the vector file over to our graphics department to see if we could bring their vision to life! Our sales representative still met the customer on-site even though they already knew what they were looking for, just to confirm we have all of the correct information and to take exact measurements of the glass for our graphics department.
The business owner was looking for increased privacy for the conference room, sidelites, and private offices. When it comes to custom graphics, you pretty much have unlimited options, which is cool. Custom graphics can be installed on a variety of different surfaces such as windows, walls, floors, and more. You can install stripes and bands as this customer did, a wall mural of your choice or you can have your companies mission values installed. Those are just a few of the options you have. I told you, it’s really up to you! If you are like this customer and already know what you are looking for, that’s great! You can send it over to our graphics department and they can make it come to life, which is exactly what we did for Kaiser Permanente. However, if you don’t know what you are looking for and need some guidance and direction, we also got you covered! If that’s the case for you, you can work with our graphics department to find the perfect custom graphic for your space. Like we said earlier, Kaiser Permanente was looking for increased privacy and a decorative factor throughout their office space. The design they chose was frosted striped bands with a small reveal between each. The frosted bands were installed at eye level so privacy was greatly increased, but natural light was still let into the rooms. If the customer moves offices or decides they no longer want the custom graphics, our installation crew can easily go onsite and remove them with no damage to the glass. In addition to custom graphics, Solar Art also services solar film, decorative window film, graffiti film, security film, and exterior building wraps throughout California and Washington State.
