Solar Art installed frosted window film to a Wells Fargo in La Jolla, California! The bank was looking to significantly increase privacy to the storefront for both client comfort as well as to provide more safety. The whole objective of this project was to not let outsiders see inside the bank at any point during the day. While the main goal was to increase privacy and safety, they were also interested in a decorative factor. The customer didn’t want blinds or shades because they didn’t like how it made the bank look from the interior or the exterior. They did some research on different options they could go with for their bank, when they came across window film.They called up Solar Art to learn more about window film to see if it would be a good fit for their project and what they are looking for. Our sales representative met the customer on site at the bank to take measurements and show them samples of different window film options.

When it comes to window film and increased privacy, typically reflective window film and decorative window film are the two best options. Since the customer is looking for increased privacy during the day and night, reflective window film was not a good fit. Reflective window film will offer privacy from the exterior, but unfortunately there are no window films on the market to provide that at night while the lights are on. With that being said, our sales representative showed them some different decorative window film options. When it comes to decorative window film you can choose from different opacities, shapes, colors and designs. Our sales representative showed the customer a sample of frosted window film and the customer really liked it. Frosted window film won’t allow anyone to see in or out of the bank at any point during the day. If the customer decides later on down the road they no longer want the frosted window film, frosted window film can easily be removed with no damage to the glass. The customer was really pleased with the outcome of the installation as they got increased privacy, increased safety, and a cool design factor.
