National Window Film Day

April 30th, 2019

National Window Film Day has been declared as April 30th! The purpose of National Window Film Day is to educate and bring awareness to both homeowners and business owners on the benefits of window film. According to the IWFA, “research shows window film can be the most cost-effective means of saving energy costs across all climate zones...and windows account for up to 50 percent of a building’s energy loss.”

Installing a solar film to your commercial building can reduce the amount of heat that enters by up to 75%, can reduce glare by up to 94% as well as block 99.99% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. What this ultimately means is both your windows and your building will be more energy efficient. Solar film will make your building noticeably cooler and your air conditioner will be used less and you may be eligible for green energy rebates through your utility company!

Our Local Partner

Our sister company, Tint Plus installs window film on vehicles which has similar benefits as commercial buildings and residential installations. Installing window film to a car can reduce heat and result in less usage of the AC, which will use less gas. The interior of your car will also be protected from sun fading!
