Solar Art installed patterned window film to a commercial building in Redmond, Washington! In previous case studies, we have talked a lot about patterned window film in the form of stripes or dots and mention how you can also install other geometric shapes. Well, today’s case study is on those other geometric shapes. As you can tell from the photo, this office space is open concept and modern. You have full visibility to all parts of the office, which is great. The office has a ton of glass and a ton of natural light coming in. The way it’s decorated mixed with the modern look creates a welcoming and inviting environment. While the office loves the modern look, they were looking for an easy way to add a subtle design factor to the space. They didn’t want anything big or colorful. They wanted something that would stick with the theme of the office. When doing some research they found out about wall graphics and window graphics and thought some sort of window graphic might fit the space perfectly. They contacted Solar Art to learn more about window graphics.
Our sales representative met with the customer at their office and brought samples of different options the customer might be interested in based on the initial conversation. The sales representative explained to the customer they can go with a decorative window film or a patterned window film and have something like shapes or stripes installed to the glass. They explained this will give a subtle decorative design like they are looking for. The customer was interested in a patterned window film so they looked through different samples of what they could go with. Our sales representative also explained that they can have custom graphics installed where they can custom create any design they wanted. This interested the customer because they liked the idea of patterned window film, but didn’t see anything that stuck out.
In the end, they ended up having a custom patterned window film installed. They wanted four big, different shapes to be cut out of a frosted window film and installed at eye level to certain glass panes throughout the office. The patterned window film created a subtle design factor without changing the look of the modern and open-concept office. It also increased safety as it was a distraction pattern and made the glass known. Patterned window film can easily be removed with no damage to the glass if they move offices or decide they no longer want it. In addition to patterned window film, Solar Art also services solar film, custom graphics, anti graffiti film, security window film, and exterior building wraps.
