Solar Art's Goals

Just like all of our other projects, Solar Art’s main goal was to work with the contractor and educate the customer on security window film and tell him all of the benefits it can provide. When he got to the pharmacy, our sales representative took exact measurements of the storefront glass so we could get a quote over to the business owner. When our sales representative met with the contractor, he picked his brain and got feedback on the security film installations he has done in the past and if he liked the products he used before providing suggestions. After speaking with the contractor and hearing what his thoughts are on the security film installations he has done in the past, our sales representative suggested 3M S80. He suggested this security film because it’s an optically clear security film option, which is what the business owner is looking for. 3M S80 isn’t going to change the look of the glass or the look of the storefront. What the Customer Chose

Ultimately, the customer decided to go with the 3M S80 for the storefront glass. He chose this security film because he is familiar with the product and he has been happy with it in the past. 3M S80 is an optically clear security window film. What this means is the aesthetics of the storefront and the look of the glass aren’t going to change at all. This security window film is also going to strengthen glass by 2-3 times and hold shattered glass together, which significantly increases safety. Window security film prolongs forced entry time, which means it will take an intruder longer to break through the glass. This allows more time for help to arrive.

This security film installation ended up being 206 total square feet once the entire storefront was complete. It took two of our installation specialists around three hours to complete.
